The PhenixID authentication services allows for customizations in regards to look and feel/branding.
From version 4.0 and later ui changes can be made in ways so that they are kept through the phase of upgrading. This guide provide recommendations and best practice on how this is done.
Many applications
Even though PAS is a single installation service it should be considered as many applications in terms of UI branding. This means that every application is branded separately. Each application has its own section in this guide.
Only HTTP based applications are applicable for customization/branding.
What to expect
Customizations include:
- Language
- Images
- CSS
- Templates
Layout changes etc is not to be considered branding and should be avoided to ensure smother upgrading.
