PhenixID Signing Service serves two use cases:
1. Trusted central (also called remote, indirect or federated) signing service to sign pdf documents or XML data. All signing operations are performed server-side by the trusted service.
Trusted central signing service can be used with any authentication method PAS offers (certificate, otp, bankid, onetouch, external idp/federation etc).
Available via web application (on PhenixID platform) and API (which means it can be used from any application/service on any device).
Signatures can be created by end user (sign) or by organization (seal).
2. Local signing of textual data. Signing operation is performed by local client, such as PhenixID OneTouch or BankID. Available via API.
